Hope on Earth Day

On April 22, 2015, Earth day, an alliance of stewards of the earth will rally to the capitol building in Springfield, Illinois to take back control over the funds that is rightfully, and legally intended in the procurement of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, and energy efficient equipment, such as LED lighting and Variable Speed Drives for Heating Venting and Air Conditioning.

The Clean Energy Jobs Bill holds a strong Renewable Portfolio, and Energy Efficiency Standard that guarantees to create 32,000 clean jobs per year in Illinois, at the same time, this legislation will substantially reduce our electricity costs, and promote cleaner air and waters for our generation and the future generations to come.

This movement is led by the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition. Together with businesses, organizations, religious groups, students, and many others, they are inviting everyone to share and participate in the rally to make sure that our state leaders realize the significance of this legislation, and finally pass this bill.
